What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
- Prioritize and time manage when there are many guests in store.
- Follow all procedures for the cash register and ring every transaction up as it occurs.
- Clean and sanitize work areas or equipment.
- Work well under pressure with a positive “team” attitude.
- Take the initiative to “Make it Right” whenever necessary and read guests needs.
- Effectively multitask (ring drinks, listen to guests, fill items, answer phones, etc.).
- Create merchandise displays that are up-to-date and attractive to guests.
- Recognize our loyal guests, or “regulars”, by their names and preferred drinks.
- Receive and ticket all incoming merchandise.
- Effectively communicate with fellow associates.
- Complete daily opening/closing/check-out checklists.
